Residence Inn Columbus Downtown - Operations Supervisor

This role requires working PM hours, primarily the standard 3pm-11pm shift.

Are you an experienced Hotel Associate, looking for a growing management company with room for advancement? Then Lexington Hotel Group would love to talk with you! We are looking for an Operations Supervisor for our Residence Inn Columbus Downtown. The job includes:

• Become knowledgeable of company policies and procedures included all brand standards.
• Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner.
• Maintain regular attendance in compliance with standards, as required by scheduling which will vary according to the needs of the hotel.
• Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the proper uniform and name tag when working (per brand standards).
• Monitor and direct personnel. Coach and counsel employees as needed.
• Ensure that employees are, at all times, attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to all guests, managers and other employees.
• At times you will assume the role of department head and coordinate ordering and scheduling.
• Conducting interviews for open positions, handling employee complaints & grievances, disciplining employees, and appraising employees as needed.
• Create, design, or implement training and development programs to enhance employee knowledge.
• All other duties assigned by the General Manager or Management Company.

Pay Range - $18-$22 Per Hour. Starting wage is negotiable and based on experience. Marriott experience is preferred but not required.
