Lexington Hotel Group is seeking a results-oriented sales professional with a strong track record for growing market share to lead our sales strategy at Residence Inn Columbus Downtown. The ideal candidate is self-motivated with a passion for hospitality and a strong ability to communicate effectively with both internal teams and external partners. As Director of Sales, you will drive top-line revenue, develop long-term business relationships, and cultivate a high-performance culture rooted in collaboration and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans to drive business in social, group, and corporate markets
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
- Monitor market trends and maintain competitive industry knowledge
- Collaborate with the General Manager to achieve or exceed goals in business transient, group rooms, and catering revenue through strong ADR and occupancy strategies
- Actively pursue new business through networking, cold calling, warm leads, appointments, and sales blitzes
- Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service and professionalism
- Communicate clearly and effectively with internal teams and external clients
- Embrace a team-first mindset and support operational departments as needed
- Utilize and maintain proficiency in sales software and reporting systems
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of hotel sales experience
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
- Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
- Detail-oriented with excellent time management and prioritization abilities
- Proficient in standard office software and basic computer applications including Microsoft Office, Outlook and web-based tools.
